Men and Intimacy
Do You Want To Experience Intimacy?
Do you want to experience the tenderness of intimacy? Of being completely seen and accepted as you are, with love and caring? If your answer is "yes", then read on.
We have been led to believe that this acceptance and love comes only from others. Yet, their love comes and goes dependent upon how they are thinking and feeling moment to moment. The real, unchanging love and acceptance is from us for us. This is "in-to-me-I-see".
To do this we need to take a fearless look into the cleanest mirror possible. We must open to our own pain: the pain that by not being with it, leaves us alone and afraid. Do you feel this aloneness, this fear?
We've grown up in a world where we learned that as men, we didn't feel deeply. That's what women did. To not open to and feel our own suffering. Being vulnerable was ok for women, but a vulnerable man was "weak", a "pansy", a "pussy", a "girl". Although we now feel the necessity of this journey through our pain to our compassion, for us men it's especially scary. To take this journey we have to touch into our shame. To face what we have said and done that doesn't align with our deepest ideals. It's scary because we fear reprisal. We fear scorn.
Are you afraid that if you take responsibility you'll will be abandoned or punished?
Though scarier still is our self hatred for what we've said and done. It's scary because we'll have to feel the rage as we realize that some of the lies that we have been living we learned at the feel of those we trusted most. That sucks! It's scary because we're afraid to feel our grief.
Our feeling of loss of integrity with our deepest ideals, with what we want to think and feel about ourselves, our very souls. It's scary because in facing this, we'll have to change our words, our behaviors, virtually everything will have to change.
It's time we let that house of cards crumble with no thought of how to rebuild it or what to do. That's what scares us most, yet is the very thing that will bring us home. It's in this process that as we release this old conditioning, we'll be able to feel the authentic life within us, and to then be truly free.

Testimonials
"You've shown me a way of gaining access to the heart." - Troy
"Wherever you are in your walk as a man, you will gain tremendous insight and renewed personal power by taking one of Sahar's workshops. He prepares a space for you of growth and safety that sets the stage for breakthrough experiences.
For each session he crafts a provocative series of exercises designed to take you deep, yet he is willing to let go of the structure when he senses the movement of spirit in the moment. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed if you give yourself the gift of a series of sessions with him." - Dawson Church, co-author of The Heart of The Healer with Bernie Siegel, Norman Cousins, and Prince Charles |
"I will take this experience with me for the rest of my life and it will impact me in a positive way along my journey." ~Jacob Lapides
"Sahar's course quickly peeled the layers so that my authentic self could emerge and interact with a depth I rarely achieved in normal living." - Kevin Conway, Physical Therapist
"I appreciate the community you helped create. The meditations at the beginning were so awesome that each time I didn't want to open my eyes after. Thank you." - M.
"I met Sahar quite "randomly", through a mutual acquaintance who gave me his card, and told me that he hosts drum and men's circles. I was initially quite suspicious of this, as I have not ever been to either, but eventually ended up giving him a call a couple months ago.
Since then, Sahar has been a majorly positive influence in my life. An extremely conscious man who deeply cares about the welfare and happiness of his fellow humankind. Sahar has been a crucial support to me in a very tough time.
I recently went to a Men's circle, and Sahar made a deep impression on some of the men in the circle, based on what they told me after the ceremony.
I believe if you are in need of a healer, a hypnotist, or a mentor, Sahar would be an excellent investment of your time and energy. He truly does care and only wants the best for each and every soul on this planet." Sam B.
"I recently had the opportunity to join Sahar on one of his wilderness immersion trips in the Kings Canyon National Park. Sahar's presence allowed for a beautiful container To deeply experience the exquisite and profound energy of the sierra Nevada mountains. Sahar's ability to connect deeply with the present moment and exemplify honest expression and deep listening is absolutely refreshing to experience. Sahar Is one of the most authentic human beings I have come to know and spending time with him in nature was a gift for the heart and soul. I would highly recommend one of his wilderness immersion trips to anyone looking For deeper connection within themselves. This retreat was exactly the medicine I needed. Thank you Sahar!" - Jens Jarvie
